Dear Sir:
Please be informed that POLO Luz Talento called us up regarding some complaints of OFWs you hired as horse jockeys and groomers, particularly on their salaries, deductions and benefits. Also, she mentioned about alleged placement fee collected by your staff, including security deposit.
I have meet with Mr. Jojie Lumen about this matter and what he knows about the problems of your workers in Japan. In passing, I also requested him to make a formal report to the Immigration Office, copy furnished our POLO, regarding subject DEATO who ran-away last March 15, 2015 and is now reported to be in Hokkaido. Under our contract, the principal (Matsukaze) and the agency (MIRSI) continue to be responsible until the OFW (Deato) had returned to the Philippines or, as in this case, properly reported to Immigration and POLO, POEA had ran-away and breached his employment contract.
I am required by the POLO to report about the result of my own efforts regarding the above issues. I would be expecting your reply soonest on what actions were taken to address these problems.
Very truly yours,
